my sister Kelli and nephew Zach were here!!! We only see each other 2 or 3 times a year so when she is here I really enjoy getting to spend time with her. We did a spur of the minute trip to branson to do the midnight shopping thing . We didn't get home till 3 am we laughed all the way there and back, she is so funny!!! my face hurt from all the laughing!!! I love you Kelli,

RITCH

My brother has the sweetest family!! I love them soooo much!!

Garrett was born on the day that I moved to Arkansas!! I was there all night while Amy was in labor.. I was packed up and the U-Haul was in the parking lot. I remember leaving the hospital so excited to have such a beautiful nephew and sad that I wouldn't be right there to watch him grow up!! 10 years latter I have good news!!!

GOOD NEWS!!! is THEY ARE MOVING TO ARKANSAS!!!!!

It will be a huge transition to sell their home, and relocate...... but now the plan is in motion!!! I can hardly BREATHE!!!

the RITCH family

this year was the first time in 20 years(oh yeah) that the complete RITCH family was together!!! Pete and his precious wife Honey came up from Houston Texas and spent the week on the White river in their beautiful Bus. We had the most incredible week of visiting, cooking, eating, shopping, eating again.

Pete and honey brought huge shrimp from the Gulf!!! so Friday night was seafood night!!!! oysters!!!! jalapeno stuffed peppers!!! it was great!!!

we don't plan on going so long for our next get together!!! they are coming back this summer!!! Cant wait.

"MAKING READY"

The prep work begins!! this is a special holiday because my bothers and sister are all coming form TEXAS with their families!! i work tonight then its off to start "making ready" !!! That's what my grandma always said. I really enjoy cooking and having a house full... I feel blessed to have such a large family! Then the grand babies are just the icing on the cake:)



all my grand parents have passed away, but I remember the special times at their house and the awesome smell of that SOUTHERN CORNBREAD DRESSING yum yum!!!!

Here is to one of the sweetest couples in the world!! Congratulations Ashley on your new career!! Just think you made it, you stuck to your plan and now here your are !! Chase is right behind you, in just a few month you two will have completed college and ready to start the next chapter in your lives!! I'm proud of you both..

new scrap book pages

Here are a couple pages that Ive done over the past few days!! I'm still pretty new at this but I absolutely love it!!! I started scrap booking while I was going thru chemo, I had insomnia really bad so I would come to my craft room and work on pages of all my family,,, it was therapeutic!!!! now Im addicted!!

REMISSION

Ive had my 6 month mammogram and all is well!!! I'm now classified as a 1 year SURVIVOR!! feels good to be able to say that, i actually had a hair cut today, that was the first one in a year and a half.. Still tyring to get everything back to normal,,, however normal is no longer good enough,, i try and make something special happen each day. My kiddos are doing great!! My husband is loving and supportive, and my family is here to enjoy and share my life with me!!!

Making big plans for THANKSGIVING !!! My brothers and sister and their families are all coming up from Texas I'm so excited about that!!!

FEELINGS SHOW

well Ivebeen wearing my heart on my shoulders lately. Ive let what someone else is doing get to me. Hurt me and make me feel unappreciated. After talking with friends tonight I have decided to let it go... You can give advise all day long but that doesn't mean that it will be received!! Its hard to watch someone you love take a RISK at getting hurt again...

Children are like sponges they watch you and the choices that you make daily.. As parents its difficult to know what is best for our children, but if you show them there is no punishment for abandonment, the they will not understand the principles of loyalty. If you show them that commitment has no NEED then they will have trouble with commitment. If you show them to be deceitful then they will know deceit.

When the choices you makes puts you in jeopardy with your job, school, and the relationships that have been built over the past 10 years, then is it a risk worth taking?

I have decided to put this behind me, swallow my pride and do what I need to do to keep this relationship intact.. I'm NOT willing to give up the precious little people that I love so much...

until this happens AGAIN I will pray that I have the humility and the forgiveness to overcome this.

When i moved to Arkansas I never dreamed that my parents would move here!!! Now they have been here 4 years and I'm so glad to have part of my family here to share this natural beauty. I'm so fortunate to have them here!!!!


I laughed at daddy soo hard!! He wanted to talk the whole time; most of the shots have his mouth open and making funny faces!! but I still got some good ones... I think im gonna take a photography class!!

Falling Leaves

Fall has pretty much come to an end here! the trees are bare and the plants are put away till spring. My fall mums are holding on to their vivid colors and my new flower bed of pansies are standing up strong and proud!! The fire place is up and running and the wine glasses are ready for toasting!! The house has the smell of pumpkin spice candles as they add that magical glow. This time of year is truly time to slow down and give thanks for all the blessings in my life. I am really enjoying my craft room. Scrap booking is so awesome!!! love all the crops and classes that are offered this time of year!!

Planning a shopping day in Springfield this week. Cant wait!!

GRANDPARENTS DAY

As many of you know last week was grandparents day at kinder garden. I was working and missed Justice's special day at school , so we had a date after school on Friday ! When I picked her up she was very excited, I told her she could pick out any place in town that she wanted because it was her SPECIAL DAY. well to make a long story short we had a lovely meal at MC DONALD'S! She was happy and that's what counted .

Mary

Mary came and visited us this week !!!! As always it was a delight, she cooked an awesome meal for us!! Its such a pleasure to have her as a friend , we watched the rain and had a glass of wine and got caught up with all that has been going on.

I have the greatest mom in the world! She does so much for my family, giving of herself to help out in any situation. We have fun together, we laugh, talk,and share our feelings. I'm so glad that she lives here and we have this time together!
