Savannah's First Birthday!!!
A little bit of heaven
Drifted down from above -
A handful of happiness,
A heartful of love.
The mystery of life,
So sacred and sweet
The giver of joy
So deep and complete.
Precious and priceless,
So lovable, too
The world's sweetest miracle,
Baby girl, is you.

My Sunshine!!
My daughter brings me so much joy each day. She is super sweet and compassionate about her mother!! She is the one that is always there for me. She has the natural ability to know when I dont feel good and she knows just what to do to make it better. She has been at my bedside after chemo,, she has wiped the tears away when I cried,, she has given me that smile of you can make it "Mom".
She gives me hope,,,when I am weak she is strong,,, when I think I cant go on she says mom its just a little farther,,,I love my daughter!!! she is my rock!!

Happy Birthday Charis
My little sweet pea is 5 years old today. Hard to believe that she has grown so fast, as I talked to her on the phone today i told her about the first time i saw her.. She was 2 days old and was born while Darrell and I were at work. Darrell, Mom and I went to see her at her house. I fell in love with her and felt such a joy to have another Grand baby in my life. She was perfect in every way.
Charis is strong, curious, smart, just like her Nana!!! lol.. She never come over with out getting her nails done,,, I love every moment I get to spend with my little girl!!!

PHENOMENAL WOMAN
PHENOMENAL WOMAN
by Maya Angelou
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing of my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them,
They say they still can't see.
I say
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
The palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
