Scrap book fun!!

I still consider myself as an armature Scrap Booker!! But I love spending the time to create each special page of my family as it happens!!Ill never make it to a design team and that is just fine with me. I do this because I love it!!

Our Hastas have gone wild!!! they are about 3 feet tall and so thick!!

 

These are Papaw Sam's Amarillo's !!

He grew them in Texas!! I remember going to his house as a child and just loving all of the flowers that he had, but these were my favorite. Before he died I got some of the bulbs and planted them at my Home in Tyler, when I sold my house in Texas in 2000 I went back and got my Amarillo bulbs. Not knowing how they would do with the climate change I planted then by faith !!! Now after 10 years they bloom their magnificent Red and I think of Papaw Sam and all the happy memories that I have!!!

Happy Mothers day to all of the special Moms in the world!!

 

Today Mom and I had a fun relaxing day,, we went to Sonic in Flippin and took our lunch down by the White River.. Doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive to have a good day!! On our way back home we picked Wild flowers for our houses!!! Wow they smell so great!!! And we had a great time doing it!!! Remember to Cherish these Special times with your parents,, I'm so blessed to still have both of mine!!

 

So snuggle and smooch and tickle them as much as you can when they are little!! And embrace each phase of life that we are given!!
