RIP

this week has been an emotional week. Monday one of my patients passed away. He had been very sick and in the intensive care for an extended time. Watching his family dealing with his illness and death always touches my heart. He and his wife have been married 58 years. AMAZING !! When he was awake you could see the twinkle in his eyes when she spoke to him. He is no longer in pain and in a much better place. When I grieve over someones death it is usually for the ones left hear to adapt to the loneliness and solitude. She kissed his cheek as he drew his last breath and told him that she loved him, with tear filled eyes looked up at me and said "i cant imagine life without him" "that ole house is gonna be so empty"

the next day his sweet daughter came back into the hospital to bring me a card and this Beautiful Angel. I will always remember the sweet love that this family cherished. I pray that in time they can find peace and rest.

Janie just celebrated another birthday !!! Cant believe how fast she is growing up. Today was her first class at White Eagle Hopkido, she was so excited to wear her uniform and show us what she could do. She is such a litttle cuttie!!

Wow!! what a way to start a weekend !! I meet my sweet pea after work so she could spend the night with Papa and Nana. She was sooo cute on the ride home. She loved being the center of attention and we loved letting her be !!

She couldn't wait to get home so she could take a bath with her Barbie soap and eat macaroni and cheese

I'm sure that Ill have more to post soon,, but right now I'm gonna enjoy every minute with my

Good morning !! Its Monday morning and I'm off work today after a 3 day weekend with some very critical patients. I pray for my patients and their family because they are experiencing such critical issues at this time..

HEALTH

you may not realize what a blessing good health is until you loose it. I'm so very thankful that I'm hear and back at work and feeling so good. My work days are getting easier for me and I feel like I'm able to give more attention to my patients. I can relate to them so much more these days. I pray for God to give me the wisdom and compassion to continue what I love to do so much!

I praise God that my cancer is gone and Ive completed the long hard path that it has taken me thru.

Looking forward to another cold winter week hear in the Ozarks,, the wind id blowing and having a few snow flurries. I don't like to wish my seasons away like so many people do... they are to be enjoyed,,

Gonna get to spend a little special time with Charis this weekend,, cant wait !!!

This has been one crazy winter!! Which makes going to the beach that much better!!! Today I will start packing for our cruise. We are going with one other couple so in comparison to last year I think it will be more laid back and relaxing.

We plan on renting a Jeep and exploring Cozumel. There is so much to see and do. Last year we scuba dove and loved it,,, but we spent all our time underwater, so this year we are gonna check out the Lighthouse and the Mayans. Oh yea and the beaches.....

Having a good day here at the Green's today !! Just kinda taking it easy and getting a little rest.. Ive had a little time to scrapbook lately so here are a few that i will share...

I cant believe how good I feel !! No Dr appointment to go to,,,yea....just getting ready for our cruise. Just 20 day from now I will be soaking up the warm Caribbean Sun !!!!

OMG,,,, I was sweeping the kitchen and saw between the frig and wall,,,,,, it was awful,,,, my mom would be ashamed,,,, Darrell pulled it out for me so I could get it all nice and clean,,,,yuck There should be a self cleaning kind!!!! don't ya think??

I was so excited about today that I had trouble sleeping last night!!! Sometimes I'm like a kid that just wants to have fun and play. We got nearly 10 inches of snow in the past 24 hours,, the perfect light fluffy stuff !!!!

the kids had a great time!!! we went to the overlook at the Dam and sled down the hill on all kinds of home made sleds,,, tubes, sleds, and an old boat cushion !!!! we are very creative !!

i just love the snow so much !!
