My new Love Aubrey Leigh!!!
I'm so in love with this little girl!!!!!! When i hold her my heart melts. at this stage she is still sleeping a lot but that doesn't keep us from loving and holding her!!
Chase and Ashley are such great parents!!!
They work together as a team meeting her every need. I just love that my son has grown up to be a on hands dad.
Giving God thanks!!
I'm so thankful that God has blessed me with better health!! Its so easy to take for granted for our daily strength to carry out a normal day. The month of February was the most difficult month that I have had during my 10 months of Chemotherapy. I had a toxic response to the chemo,, I had so much pain that nothing would relieve it. My hands and feet were so painful that I couldn't walk or hold a spoon,, to drink i had to hold the glass by the psalm of my hand like a toddler. I spent 5 days in bed with my feet elevated to help prevent the swelling. Even had to go to the ER for another doppler scan to rule out a blood clot.
Durring this time my family and friends were at my side. Mary came from Little Rock and cooked and saw to my every need. Eva never left myside and Kelli would sleep in the bedroom with me just to make sure I was ok. Im so blessed with the selfless love and devotion that I have from my support group.
God heard my cries and would comfort me when I though that I couldnt handel anymore. I hid the tears from my family because I cant bear to see them hurt anymore than they already are.
Feburary also gave me the greatest blessing with my grandbaby Aubrey. I was there for her birth and fell in love with her the moment that I saw her!!!
Thank you Lord for your Blessings that I have in my life, for being my constant companion for comforting me when I feel I cant go on. I read a daily devotional called Jesus Calling and daily Im inspired by the words of His holy Word
thank you God for your Blessings on me!!!

My Daughter
My Beautiful Daughter
My beautiful daughter
You cannot know
How much my heart breaks
As I watch you grow
In time you’ll become
Independent and free
Always my daughter
And special to me
As you grow older
You will see
Through the eyes of a mother
Reflections of me
Past, present and future
All intertwined
My mother, your mother
All daughters you’ll find
Our reflections, not vanity
Mirrored lives we share
Always a daughter
Your mother, who cares.

Hand-Foot Syndrome
Other terms: Palmar-Plantar Erythrodysesthesia; PPE
What is hand-foot syndrome?
Also called hand-foot syndrome or hand-to-foot syndrome, Palmar-Plantar Erythrodysesthesia is a side effect, which can occur with several types of chemotherapy or biologic therapy drugs used to treat cancer. For example, Capecitabine (Xeloda®), 5-Flurouracil (5FU), continuous-infusion doxorubicin, doxorubicin liposomal (Doxil®), and high-dose Interleukin-2 can cause this skin reaction for some patients. Following administration of chemotherapy, small amounts of drug leak out of very small blood vessels called capillaries in the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Exposure of your hands and feet to heat as well as friction on your palms and soles increases the amount of drug in the capillaries and increases the amount of drug leakage. This leakage of drug results in redness, tenderness, and possibly peeling of the palms and soles. The redness, also known as palmar-plantar erythema, looks like sunburn. The areas affected can become dry and peel, with numbness or tingling developing. Hand-foot syndrome can be uncomfortable and can interfere with your ability to carry out normal activities.

XELODA
- Breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. This is called metastatic breast cancer (mBC). For this kind of breast cancer, XELODA is taken together with another medicine called docetaxel.
- Breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and has not improved after treatment with other medicines. These medicines include paclitaxel and anthracycline-containing medicine such as doxorubicin.
What makes XELODA different?
Chemotherapy medicines are often given through an intravenous (IV) tube at a treatment center. Because XELODA is an oral chemotherapy pill that you swallow whole with water, you can take your medicine at home or work. This may enable you to take a more active role in your treatment.
