WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BIGGEST GIFT THAT I RECEIVED THIS YEAR IS WHEN I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND SAW DEDRICK "WALKING" TO THE FRONT DOOR!! HE IS MY OLDEST GRAND BABY AND HE WAS BORN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY. THIS HAS NOT SLOWED HIM DOWN ONE BIT,, HE HAS WORKED SO HARD TO GET TO THIS STAGE, HE HAS BEEN USING HIS WALKER FOR A COUPLE YEARS, NOW AFTER MANY OPERATIONS AND PAINFUL TREATMENTS HE IS WALKING WITH CRUTCHES!!I'M SO VERY PROUD OF HIM. HIS SMILE RADIATES AND WARMS MY HEART, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!

WE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME THIS YEAR!! SO BLESSED TO HAVE A GREAT FAMILY.. MOM AND DAD WERE IN TEXAS WE MISSED THEM BUT THEY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH ALL THE TEXAS GANG!!! MISS YOU MUCH.

This year we did things a little different,,, we started with CHRISTMAS PUNCH, it was so good!!!those of us who partook early had a great time!!!

Clint won the prize for being the first to get tipsy, Ashley was running a close second, Clint started to entertain everyone with his funny jokes and being silly!!! Ashely just smiled and got the giggles!! It was really fun to watch everyone have a good time

Its begening to look like christmas

Cant wait till Christmas day when the house will be filled with all the family. It gets a little crazy with 8 grand babies but that's what makes it so special!! Nana and Papas house is ready to welcome them and to make more memories of a wonderful Christmas Day.

 

 

 

 

What a busy day, i finished my shopping including groceries for the big day and the stocking are all stuffed!!! now I can sit back and relax!!! [not]

Ive been sitting on edge about Waynette,, she is very sick,, I had my baggs ready to go when i got the call of good news!! Her surgery is postponed till after Christmas, so she will get to go home soon!! Please keep her in your prayers!!

Great Weekend!!!

we went to Little Rock this weekend to Waynetts Christmas party, hosted by the Marvelous Mary!!! The party was a hit, great to see my friends and "hang out", On Sunday we went to Hot springs shopping and checking out all the neat shops downtown... dinner a fisherman's wharf and home to watch our favorite movie National lampoon's Christmas.

of course I'm having a HOT FLASH !!!! and had to take off my clothes!!!

we had a great evening at the graduation, then we went to coltons ( yum yum) the margaritas were wonderful!! then we went to a bon fire to finish off the celebration with our friends and some of Ashley's classmates!!!

I'm loving this time that I'm spending with my favorite daughter!!! She is at such a precious stage!! She is a teen -ager but she still enjoys spending time with mom!! She is sharing thing that are happening in her world and I love it.. The "driving thing" is getting a little better for me. Its hard to realize that she is not a toddler any more. I have been truly blessed with two wonderful children. I pray for their protection as the they continue to mature. Eva Lauren I love you so much!!

I got this in an e-mail today!! Loved it!!!

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast,
the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the
wash outside. 'That laundry is not very clean', she said.
'She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap' Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Everytime her neighbor would hang her wash to dry,
the young woman would make the same comments. About one month later, the woman was surprised to see
a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:
'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this?' The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and
cleaned our windows.' And so it is with life. What we see when watching others,

tonight was Eva Laurens big night!!! she had her Christmas Band program and then it was off to watch the basketball game at FHS!!!

Today another victim to cancer has passed away. I will remember all the early morning conversations that we had as you were walking your precious Magoo!! You were strong and not afraid to speak your mind. I pray that your family will find peace as they put you to rest..Knowing you, you have already given them full instructions on what to do and how to do it!!
